“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”-Aristotle

Reflection: When we educate ourselves we really educate the mind and what is in our mind will go to our heart. In any situation we are in, we must choose the right to bring good memories in our mind and bring happiness to our heart. Learn from every situation you are placed in, earn more knowledge, and use it in other situations you will be in. You will become wiser if you learn from your mistakes. Your mind will be wiser and your heart stronger. Always choose the right.

“CTR connects you to happiness and success- CTW disconnects."
                                       -Mr. Haymore

Reflection: When choosing to do right, it will bring youhappiness which will lead to success in your life. When choosing wrong it will bring regret and no success to your life. Everyone is placed in a road, where there are two arrows, one pointing to the left with a sign that’s says WRONG WAY!! , and the other arrow pointing to the right with a sign saying RIGHT WAY! But it’s our decision to choose which way we want our life’s to lead to destruction or success.

“Choosing the right is always the right thing to do.”                                    –Alex Linares

Reflection: in every situation we are placed in we should always pick the best for us. We need to make the right decision for ourselves, no one else can choose for us. There are times where we get advice about choosing the right but many of us that advice goes through one ear and out the other. We are responsible for our decisions, we choose to take the advice and make good out of it or just ignore it. We need to stop being like everyone else and be who we truly are. Just because everyone else smokes, drinks, or parties that doesn’t make them popular there just trying to get attention, the attention they’re not getting from their parents or family. We shouldn’t be followers be should be the leaders to lead this world into goodness. We need to step up, be brave, have courage and always choose the right.

“It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company”- Anon

Reflection:  I personally believe that at moments of our life we must choose between being alone or being with someone that is going to influence us to do the wrong decisions.  It might seem hard to let go of that person but at the end we won’t have to suffer the consequences. We have to step up and be brave and know what’s right between wrong. We need to learn how to choose those who will become our friends because we all need real friends not fake ones. For example I once had a friend in 9th grade and she told me to go with her because she wanted to smoke a cigarette and I knew if I went with her she might get caught and the principle would of thought I smoked too so I told her no and I left her. I preferred to be alone than to be with her influencing me to do wrong. We should always choose the right in every situation we are in.

“You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible.”
-Ezra T. Benson

Reflection:

This quote is true in the way that no one in this life will ever do something wrong and feel good about it. Even though we know we’re not supposed to choose wrong we still do it and because of our choices we are the one that put bad memories in our mind and those memories will stay in our conscience until we confess and do what’s right. We will eventually get tired of the memories of the wrong decisions we made and we will start to regret everything bad we did. Having those regrets will help us start of right. Always choose the right.

“I think it better to do right, even if we suffer in so doing, than to incur the reproach of our consciences.” – Robert E. Lee

Reflection:

It’s better to do what’s right than to do wrong. When doing wrong it’s easy to do and even to get away with, but even though there might be a consequence you will never forget it, it’ll always be in your conscience, you’ll have that bad feeling that you will want to regret but it’ll be too late. If you choose the right then you will have a good memory of the right choices you made and a good feeling about yourself. It might seem hard at times to do what's right but everyone has courage. Always choose the right.
