“Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy.” –David A. Bednar

Reflection: obedience is the road to happiness. If you become an obedient person, you will remain an obedient person and you future will see happiness. Obedience won’t only bring happiness to you but to God too. He gave us commandments to obey and we should obey them to receive blessing and the answer to that one prayer. He has given us parents, teachers, officers, judges, elders to obey. We should obey every command that we receive but only if it will lead us to gratefulness. Obedience will lead to blessings and answers to your prayers. Choose the right and obey.

Life Planning Progress Report

At first I can admit that writing 100 goals was difficult because I never actually took time to think of the goals I wanted to achieve. I had a few but to know I needed to write 100 was hard. Today I have way more than just 100 goals, and it’s surprising that I actually had so many. I have achieved some of the short-term goals and I am on my way to achieve my long-term goals. I know I will achieve them because I was taught in this class that “I will persist until I succeed”. I appreciate the opportunity our teacher gave us and to help us realize that we all have goals. The time I’ve been in this class, we were told to read for 2 minutes but now that I graduate and others go on vacation, we need to discipline ourselves to read our goals for 2 minutes. I need to start to believe in myself that I can achieve these goals. I have no one to remind me to read my goals everyday so I will commit myself to read the on my own time. Thank you for proving me that I have potential to achieve goals. Choose the right. “Goal setting is goal getting”. J

Class Reflection

Class Reflection
1.      What did you like best about this class?
2.    What did you dislike about this class?
3.    What can you recommended to improve this class?
4.    What will you always remember about this class?

Reflection:

Well I really enjoyed this class, it was actually my favorite. What I liked was that we were able to practice our typing but also learn about many careers. I always enjoyed sitting in the front, it helped me concentrate better and pay more attention. I enjoyed making new friends and creating memories with them. There was nothing that I disliked about this class; I really liked it because it helped me improve my typing skills. I would recommend to always practice your typing at school and at home to become great at it. Practice makes perfect. I will always remember my awesome teacher that was a great role model in doing what’s right. I will dearly miss this class and school for all the memories I received. Thank you Mr. Haymore for always teaching us to choose the right, it was helpful and I will never forget the mottoJ. I know that God put me in this class with a great teacher so I wouldn’t forget about doing what’s right. It was a blessing and an honor to be in this class, I appreciate all the quotes because they gave me encouragement to keep going when I was trying to give up. Best class ever! Choose the right. You will be missed. I graduate thanks to the support of all my teachers, friends, and family. J

“When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block” –James E. Faust

Reflection:
For many of us including me sometimes tend to think that obedience is a stumbling block. When in reality it’s a building block. We tend to see that obeying is hard to do and that we might fail to do it that’s why we see it as a stumbling block. If we really paid attention to the reward that we earn from being obedient, being obedient would be our number one goal. Yeah we might think that we try to obey we might fail but we need to learn from our mistakes and the next time we try we know what not to do and you try something else. A professional baseball player didn't learn to hit a ball with his first swing it needs practice and learning from past mistakes to become greater at something. Sometimes you won’t always earn a reward as an object but you can feel great about yourself when you obey. The simple feeling of feeling good can be enough to be your reward for being obedient. We have many authorities like parents and teachers and officers but the one person we should always try to obedient to is God. His rewards are not always what you want but you will realize He gives you what you deserve which is the best. It might seem hard but we need to persist until we succeed. Choose the right in everything you do and don’t forget that obedience is needed everywhere you go.

“Obedience sums up our entire duty” –Hosea Ballou

Reflection: We live by obedience from day one until this very moment and forever. Obedience is what shows us how we respond to others orders. If we choose to obey we choose the blessing, if choose to not obey we choose the consequence. It seems like a blessing takes longer to come than a consequence. It’s because in order to receive a blessing we must work hard and be obedient to what others tell us to do. We have to obey our parents, judges, police officers, and teachers but we should try our best to obey God the most. Blessing come from God when we obey him, and they are the best blessing because sometimes we don’t get what we want but we get what we deserve and every obedient action deserves some type of reward. Choose the right and be obedient.

“Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” –Benjamin franklin
Reflection:

Going to bed early is a struggle but waking up early is the worst struggle for me. I do agree that going to bed early can help you wake up early and have more energy. Waking up early can help you have more energy and work harder which can earn you more money. Health depends on your rest, sleep is a beautiful thing. There’s so many reasons why we go to bed late, for example we have homework due the next day, we are watching a movie, playing on the computer, playing on our phones. When we don’t get enough rest we tend to not pay attention in class or even want to open our eyes and do work. I have experienced going to bed late and not having energy the next day. I have promised myself that I will go to bed early for the benefit of my health.
