“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.” –Mother Teresa

Reflection: Kind words are those that sound simple and short but the meaning to us is endless. Kind words can help someone to better their day no matter how bad their feeling. Kind words are those that lift you up when you’re at your lowest. Kind words all mean differently to a person but that feeling is never forgotten. I have personally have been at my lowest and someone says something kind to me that might have been simple to them but those words made my day. We should always try to be kind to everyone around us no matter if you know them or not because you don’t know the difference you can make in someone’s life with a kind word.

“The best way to predict your future is to create it.” –Charles Ketterer

Reflection:
The best way for anyone to predict their future is to start brainstorming and letting out your ideas of what you would like to do in the future. You only know what you would like to do, who you’d like to be in, and why you want to do certain things in the future. So don’t just sit there and feel like if the future is going to create itself you must take action and decide what you want to do with your life. The future begins with your actions and ends with no determination. The hardest part is starting but you’ll find strength on the way and you will achieve till the end.

                                The School Wide Assembly
Today’s school wide assembly was great I enjoyed it. It was a great and funny way to remind us to always be here in school, on time, prepared, respectful to everyone, keep the school clean and to always wear our uniform. It was a good way to start our day with a good laughter and joy. This assembly proved that teachers actually do care about each one of us and want us to succeed and I appreciate it. I think it was the greatest idea to dress and act like the students so that you can know what it’s like to be in our shoes. Even though students and including me we tend to say that teachers are boring and all they do is give us work and aren't fun well this assembly showed the opposite when you guys were acting all silly. I really enjoyed it so see the hard work you guys put to help us succeed and I promise to always try my best in anything I do. What I will do to more fully live the school rules and regulations is wake up early every morning to get to school on time, I will try not to be late to any class, I will try not to be absent and even if I am absent maybe because of an emergency I promise to always bring a note. I will come prepared with my school supplies, homework, uniform, positive attitude, and ready to work. I will try my best to be organized, do all my homework, try my best, show respect to teachers and everyone, and always have school pride. I am privileged and proud to be a student of hpiam and I appreciate all of your (teachers) hard work. –Yazmin Ruiz

“Action is the foundational key to all success”
           –Pablo Picasso

Reflection: Determination is the next ingredient when writing our goals, but the main ingredient is action. Determination leads you to your action of achieving any goal of yours. Success won’t come to us we need to go after it, chase it until we catch it. Take action to the goals you are willing to fight and achieve for. Don’t give up and persevere. Choose the right.

“Vision without action is a daydream.
Action without vision is a nightmare.”
                           –Japanese Proverb

Reflection:

When you list your dreams you must add determination and action to achieve them because what’s the whole point of writing them down if you’re not willing to pursue them. If you vision yourself to be someone in this world you aren't magically gong turn famous or whatever you want to be we need to get up and take action. Take advantage of your free time and take action to pursue your dreams when you have the chance because what if too much time passes and it’s too late already and your life will become a nightmare because you didn't take action to your visions. For example the +100 goals that I wrote can be everything I dream to be but what’s the whole point to writing them down and waiting for them to come true. Life isn't a fairy tale where your dreams will suddenly come true. Dreams come true with hard work, determination, perseverance, strength and action.

“The best inspiration is not to outdo others, but to outdo ourselves.”-Anonymous author

Reflection: I personally agree s much with this person because we need to inspire ourselves in the things we achieve. Yes some think that outdoing others makes them feel better but it really doesn't it just makes you seem as someone that will always push others down and that’s not very nice. We need to outdo ourselves to show that were stronger than what we used to be, that we can inspire ourselves to not give up to keep going in life because we each have our story and sometimes we need to hear these words from other someone  else but the most inspiring words  come  from our own mouth. We need to strong and courageous and never give up in any situation were in. remember to outdo yourself first before you outdo others or someone outdoes you. Be stronger than the person you were yesterday.
