                                     Pharmacist

Duties and Responsibilities:
Pharmacists prepare prescriptions written by physicians, dentists, and other practitioners. They review the prescriptions to validate their accuracy and then start to prepare the medicine. They weigh, measure and even mix drugs. When the medicine is ready then they give it to the prescribed patients or customers.
Pharmacists answer any question the patient or customer might have about prescribed drugs or even over-the-counter drugs. Pharmacists work in hospitals, clinics, health departments, universities, grocery or discount stores. For those that work in a store they are responsible for not directing customers with wrong medicine.

Salary:  $33,000-$51,000

Educational requirements:
Students should take the most challenging high school classes (including AP or IB) available in English, science and math. All pharmacists must graduate from a college of pharmacy. Normally it takes at least five years to earn a pharmacy degree. To earn a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree, Phar.D., requires at least six years.

Reflection: I think I would like to be a pharmacist; it sounds interesting, where seriousness and responsibility is needed.
